Awareness

Psoriasis Awareness Week 2023 ran from Sunday 29th October to Saturday 4th November.

Although psoriasis is a common condition, there is still a need for us to raise awareness amongst the general public, healthcare professionals, Government, and people with the condition themselves. Psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis are complex conditions, and there are many aspects which are misunderstood, under-treated and under-appreciated. There is also lots of 'information' out there which is inaccurate, incorrect, or doesn't give the full picture. We use our information resources, Annual Psoriasis Awareness Week, and collaborative awareness initiatives to take psoriasis fact to a wider audience. Click the different headings on the menu to find out more about some of our recent campaigns.

We also work with other Dermatology and psoriasis 'stakeholders' (such as doctors, nurses, other patient interest groups and pharmaceutical companies) - as well as key healthcare professional bodies - to work towards raising the profile of Dermatology, and to ensure the voices of people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis are heard.
