Bone and Joint Week 2026 – 20 million reasons why MSK health matters

Psoriasis UK and fellow members of the Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance (ARMA) joined forces in parliament yesterday in recognition of Bone and Joint Week.

The event, held at Portcullis House, was also attended by MPs and peers. During the afternoon, discussions were had about plans for MSK health locally and nationally. We were delighted to attend and make sure psoriatic arthritis remains part of these important conversations.

Later on, an adjournment debate on Bone & Joint Health was held by David Reed, MP for Exmouth and Exeter East.

More than 20 million people in the UK live with a Musculoskeletal (MSK) condition. That's 20 million reasons to make MSK health a national priority. By improving MSK care, people living with these conditions can:

  • Learn, participate and fulfil their potential
  • Stay in work, and return to work
  • Keep active and connected to their community

What can you do?

To support ARMA's Bone and Joint Week campaign, you can:

  • Listen to the people living with MSK conditions
  • Write to your local MP, raising the issue of MSK health
  • Support ARMA's member organisations, that offer expertise for a wide range of MSK conditions.
