biologics and photo-therapy treatment

hi!! I was wondering if anyone has ever had biologics treatment? i have pretty bad psoriasis and its been making me pretty down recently! it doesnt really help when friends dont understand how it makes you feel and that it makes you just want to stay in all the time.... they just think i dont want to bother with them! My doctor is currently attempting to get me funding for biologic injections so i was wondering if anyone has any experience with these? as im pretty nervous about trying them.
