Important information about our helpline availability over the festive period.
The Psoriasis Association office will be open until 4.30pm on Friday 21st December before the festive break, and will reopen at 9am on Wednesday 2nd January 2019.
During the festive break, our helpline will be closed and our WhatsApp service will be unavailable. You can still call us on 01604 251 620 and leave an answerphone message, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. However, please be aware that we will be unable to respond until the office reopens on 2nd January, and that it may take us some time to work through the messages that have been left.
If you need any medical assistance during this period, please contact your GP, local walk-in centre, hospital or pharmacist. Remember to check the opening hours of your GP surgery and local pharmacies in advance, as many will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day at the very least.
If you require medical assistance when your GP surgery is closed, you should contact your local out-of-hours service. You can usually do this by calling your GP surgery and listening to the instructions on the out-of-hours message.
For urgent medical advice, please call 111 to speak to a trained NHS adviser. More information can be found on the NHS Choices website.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!
